I am requesting support to attend a Breathe For Change professional development course. This training provides educators with yoga teacher training and socio-emotional coaching skills, to help guide students through physical and emotional awareness. Middle school is a stressful and emotional time for everyone- especially for students who have moved to a new country where they do not speak the language. By bringing yoga, meditation, and emotional regulation skills into my classroom, I will help my students to feel more comfortable and calm as they navigate a new city, a new language, a new culture, and all of the new experiences that come with the middle school years.

About my class
