My students will be utilizing Prisoner B-3087 and Unbroken through literature circles and classroom discussion. By providing a copy for each student, my class will be able to read at home and at school. This will help my students really foster their love of reading and increase their overall proficiency. "Prisoner B-3087 is my favorite book!" This is just one of the many ways I have heard students relate and be excited about reading in our WWII novel unit. I hope to increase my students overall excitement towards reading by providing them with exciting novels that they can read both inside and outside of the classroom.
