Bouncy bands and fidgets will help my students find relief from extra energy, anxiety, and frustration. The bands let my students stretch and move their legs. These items allow for my students to convey their energy during the school day. The relief that comes from the bouncy bands and fidgets allow my students to focus their attention on their learning. Our silent reading and whole class discussions will benefit the most from the bouncy bands and fidgets. Other academic areas that will see improvement include independent seat work and our collaborative learning in small groups. In addition to the academic gains we will see, we will also develop better interpersonal skills. In our classroom, we put just as much focus on our social skills as we do our academics.
