What may seem like just a rug, is truly a tool that allows kids to feel safe and sure in a big, sometimes overwhelming world (school!) 1st graders want and need routine, consistency and their own "spot" to go to. This rug would not only be cheery and make our classroom even more of Our Happy Place, it would also help kids to settle quickly, have their own spot and allow us to focus in on learning quickly. Thank you for considering helping with this project! You're supporting a school of kind, smart and amazing children who will grow to be wonderful adults who love to learn.
