The students use chromebooks for academic programs that are interactive and tailored to their specific levels. However, the programs must be used at a high volume and the students become frustrated with the background noise. The headphones would greatly improve students to progress into higher levels in these programs. The head phones will help limit distractions and keep students engaged and focused in their work. In addition, I'm requesting the Scholastic News magazines to engage students with current events. We have outdated Social Studies books and the Scholastic News magazines will help inform and involve students with current events and also reinforce reading skills.

About my class
