This teaching center will help to store multiple items in the same place, solving our storage problem while still maintaining the open floor plan of our room. It is important to my students that we have a room with open space so they are able to move around the room freely. Students will be able to easily have access to the items within the teaching center in order to continue to establish their independence. This teaching center will allow for quick retrieval of items for both myself and my students. I plan to put items in the teaching center the students will be able to use for their literacy center activities.
