I use the board in my room for demonstration, especially for the younger grades. But the board I have now is near unusable as it is dark with crud and build up from years of use. It was hand painted with whiteboard paint, and I don’t think I’m going to be able to use it much longer. I believe because my classroom is technically the school stage (with one “wall” being the curtains drawn together) that the music teacher that used to use it had painted over a cork board. Because of this, the surface is uneven. This greatly reduces its effectiveness as a drawing surface. A new board will allow my students to actually see what I am modeling for them and prevent further confusion.
