I want my students to read 300 pages chapter books. Our library allows the kids to check out books for a week. Some of the chapter books I want them to read will take them longer than a week. My goal is to have my students read a new book a month. Therefore, I would like to have more books that they can borrow from the class for a month. In this way, they can have enough time to read the books and not stressing of turning it back in a limited time. At the same time, they can get used to reading longer chapter books.
