The Macbook Air will be used by student video editing teams to create digital stories about our native environment. Technology integration in our classroom is very important in order to get students in the mindset of college and career readiness. We currently use chromebooks to explore the Internet, however, this technology is not sufficient to meet our ever growing curiosity. Student's tech skills should be diversified. For many, this Macbook will be their first mac experience. The intuitive ease of mac programming will help these young learners to grow in a self-directed and authentic environment. They will also be able to begin the process of expressing their art and knowledge in a digital format.
