My students are confined to a wheelchair for the majority of the day. We spend very little time on the floor out of the chairs due to the tile being cold. They would benefit from the area being covered by this rug so that they can sit on the floor and stretch in order to fully utilize what little physical ability that the students can engage in. It will be used to complete activities for full range of motion for the students. We can also use this specific rug to meet goals for color and shape sorting which can transfer into adulthood sheltered workshop jobs.
