Our class loves flexible seating. When asked what their favorite thing about school in 2016 was, most said flexible seating. The downfall is our small town school budget. There is less than $200 each year to fund our classroom, and essentially none of that is used to make learning more comfortable. It is difficult to implement national trends such as flexible seating and personalized learning when there is no financial support. That is why my kids need your help! If our class could get some comfortable seating in our classroom, I feel that the students would enjoy the flexibility of our new seating as well as be comfortable learning. Do you read books on metal chairs or on the ground? You probably read in a comfy chair, couch, or bed!
