My goal is to teach students photography using their smartphones and DSLR cameras. I hope to bring our school's photography program into the 21st century by teaching students to use what they have (smartphones) as well as professional grade equipment (DSLR). I hope to create a STEAM based class that integrates technology and fine art. Students will use attachable and changeable smartphone lenses to maximize their phone's camera capabilities. Students will also use smartphone tripod adapters to be able to take long exposure/slow shutter speed shots, as well as double exposure shots. Finally, I am hoping to purchase another DSLR camera to add to our class so students can learn to shoot manually and learn how a camera works.
