Having an ipad in the class will help create projects that utilize life in the 21st century. By creating video presentations on our non-fiction topics, recording audiobooks, and using apps such as Plickers to check for understanding, students will become more deeply engaged in their learning. In the coming weeks students will be working on perfecting their reading habits by making their reading voices sound smooth and exciting to their listeners. In the final celebration of the reading unit, students will be working on recording their very own audiobooks! Having an ipad in the class would benefit us tremendously, as there is only one class set for the whole school.
