The Chromebooks will be used to help each of my students become independent learners. The use of technology in the classroom enhances tried and true strategies, allowing students the opportunity to learn and grow individually. Problem solving, independent learning, and confidence building will be made possible with the help of individual Chromebooks in the classroom. My students will use these 8 Chromebooks daily when reading, writing, and conducting research in all subject areas. My students are able to speak into the Chromebook, helping with writing assignments or researching a topic on the internet. The Chromebook has the text-to-speech capabilities giving the students a chance to hear the assignment as they are reading. Once again, independent learning is the goal.
