Mathematical thinking is a fundamental skill that students need to be successful learners. With the progression of technology, it is imperative to engage my learners and keep them excited about learning. I have 31 students in each class. These 31 Boogie Boards allow students to show their mathematical work without wasting paper and encourage learners to want to show their thinking. We are saving trees and increasing learning in the classroom by creating a space for engagement and an opportunity to enjoy learning Math! Go Green and Go Math! A Boogie Board is an interactive notepad that allows you to write and erase without using paper. Students love using my Boogie Board in the classroom when they are working on their practice assignments and during hands-on learning. I particularly use this board every single day. From small groups to individual learning, I am able to show students my mathematical thinking and work by displaying it on the board. This engages my learners and excites them. They enjoy when I bring technology into the classroom and seem to be more focused on Math than ever before!
