In my class we like to wiggle and move. Sitting at a desk for 6+ hours a day does not work in our room. Having flexible seating provides my students with these opportunities. By creating movement, it increases a student's on-task behavior and reduces frustration. Having the chance to move while working is essential for some of my students' success. Wobble chairs will allow students to rock from side to side to increase their alertness and focus, while wobble cushions will give them the stimulation they need. Balance balls will allow students to bounce and move and allow them to focus and attend to their work. When students are engaged they develop a love of learning that they will carry with them the rest of their lives.
