Students need high interest books. Reading helps to improve comprehension, fluency, and the ability to interact with a text. I am in my 3rd year of teaching, so it is a slow and expensive process to build my classroom library. I am working on collecting books that students actually want to read. Interest level will trump reading level any day of the week. My goal is to have a class library that any student can find something that they are interested in. I hope that you will consider donating to help my goal in building this library for my students.
