These books will be used during a variety of different activities throughout the classroom. They will be used in our class library where students may choose to read them during free time or centers. They will also be read to the students during Story Lab and they will be used during Buddy Reading when students select books they would like to "read" to their partners. My students would benefit tremendously from the opportunities these books would afford them to read such interesting stories that would strengthen their appreciation of literature. Our curriculum places an emphasis on developing early reading skills and these books will help to bring us closer to the goals we have set for the students.
