We have a range of academic levels in our 3rd grade classroom. Some kiddos are reading at a kindergarten level, some are reading at a 5th grade level. Therefore, small group differentiation is key to providing meaningful lessons for all students. Our classroom currently lacks a big enough table to hold small group lessons. We crowd around the small table or sometimes hold it on the carpet. This lack of organization and space takes away from lesson time. It takes longer for our lessons to get going, and also causes more distractions to take place. Your generous donation to our classroom will allow us more time in our differentiated small groups lessons. Small group lessons is one of the most crucial parts of my students' days because of the variety of learners that I have. You would be helping me provide my students with the best education possible for them.
