The equipment that I need to start my project are volleyballs, volleyball standards, net, antennae, and a volleyball cage. I will have the students learn the proper way to play volleyball using the volleyball equipment that is donated.The students will learn to bump, set, spike, and serve using this equipment. They will be able to get in groups and bump, set, and spike using a volleyball. My students will learn to serve underhand and overhand using the balls, net, antennae, and standards. The students will learn the positions, rotations, and rules with the equipment. Once they learn the skills they will be on team and play in a class tournament. The cart is to store the equipment in and have the students become responsible to put the equipment back in the cart after using it. The equipment would be stored in my office and locked up on a daily basis to keep it secure. This donation will also help us to have a school volleyball team. It will help my students become involved in the school. It will also help my students with their self-esteem by feeling like they are somebody. It will push them to get good grades and come to school on a daily basis. As a Physical Education teacher, I have been struggling with trying to teach my students volleyball without proper equipment. For a lesson in volleyball, I have had to use a beach ball and cones. I really need your support to accomplish this project. Thank you!
