The Rubik's cubes puzzles will help my students communicate and collaborate in a fun and engaging way. In order to solve the cubes and create various mosaic art pieces, they will need patience, perseverance, and team work. As students work in teams to complete their mosaic, they will practice communication skills and increase their confidence. The communication part is especially important for our English Language Learners because they will practice language skills with a purpose. They also help and support each other as they are solving their puzzles because they understand that each Rubik's cube is essential to creating the whole mosaic.
