During our novel studies, my students only get to hear the novel being read to them. This limits their engagement and understanding of the story. With class sets, each student would have access to their very own chapter book! With these new books my students will be able to put their hands on and really dive into these novels! Students will be able to read along, re-read their favorite sections and have text evidence right in front of them when responding to the story. Ultimately, making them more engaged in the reading process and beginning to the journey to becoming lifelong readers!
