My students are very eager to learn and grow in the area of Character Education. We have weekly small group sessions in which we explore ways to improve our school culture through utilizing skills learned in our Character Education sessions. We engage the parents of our students by inviting our parents to come to our "Lunch and Learn" small group sessions to participate with their kids in role play activities and informational sessions. Our group needs Character education books, therapy games and therapy activities for our small group sessions. To complete some of these activities, we will need crayons, an art set, and colorful paper. We also need cleaning supplies to ensure that the environment remains sterile, as well as hand sanitizer. Lastly, the first component of our group sessions involve music therapy in order to create mindfulness before we begin our activities, so in addition, we are in need of a music speaker to play the music.
