This is a is a geography lesson in line with the curriculum. This research project will be of use for many students not only this year, but years to come. The bright colors on the pages and the easy to read books will keep our students engaged and looking forward to learning about biomes. They will be able to take the books home to read, learn, and take notes on for this special project. Each student is assigned or picks a specific biome to learn about in hopes they widen their knowledge about the world around them. Our students are eager to learn about the world around them. One of the ways is to teach them about biomes. This is a project done every school year in January. Since our school library has some of these books to accommodate every 6th grader. We encourage them to go on to Epic and visit their local library. However, there are many students without the opportunity to get to their local library. For whatever reason. We know that it's not an option for them.
