These books, and others I will add shortly will help my classroom library support the needs of more diverse readers. The books will be part of my personal classroom library and not the school library. I can offer a more varied selection and help students in selecting the right books for them. These titles are classified at a higher Lexile (vocabulary level) and will support the development of their individual vocabulary and reading comprehension on a daily basis. My students are expected to read daily, so offering a wider selection of titles, we increase the likelihood students will find books they like.
