Alternative seating works very well, especially in a special education room. I have requested a bean bag and yoga balls. This allows the students to bounce and relax while still completing their work. It takes the energy out while still maintaining an academic environment. It is great for any child, but it especially helps students that are diagnosed with ADHD or other disabilities similar. Your generous donation will help these students to get back to grade level with their peers academically. We need math games, so they can learn while having fun. The math games chosen are goals that each child has to help them master the basic skills, so they are able to rejoin their peers and learn while being successful. There is also storage units as well , so we have a place to put all of our wonderful new materials.
