Flexible seating choices in my classroom will allow many different seating options for students and allow for them to learn in a way that is most comfortable for them. I am requesting bean bag chairs, wobble chairs, and yoga mats. This seating will give students additional options besides sitting at their desks for learning. Students will utilize this seating throughout the day. Students will be able to spread out around the room in comfortable seating for Reading, Math, Writing, and other activities instead of working reading at their desks. Flexible classrooms give students a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them and allows for them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking. The donations for this project will improve my classroom environment by allowing students to take control of their learning environment.
