These materials will make a MAJOR impact on the lives of these young students. Here are a few examples. This Little Scholar Classroom Kit will be one of many tools that our students can use to carry out their play ideas, acquire knowledge and skills, and solve problems. Using this technology will allow students to extend on their role playing and problem solving strategies. Secondly, it will serve as a catalyst for social interaction. It will allow our students to use equipment and programs together, share observations and discoveries, and assist one another. Lastly, when appropriately designed (like the "Little Scholar Classroom Kit") for young children, it can promote early learning and development. Our students need up-to-date technology that will focus on reading, math, spelling, science, logic, geography, and creativity, that will better prepare them for kindergarten, and many more grades to follow. The technological tools that I have selected can support and promote relationship building among children, families, and the wider community. In addition, this classroom kit is a developmentally appropriate use of technology that can create purposeful learning experiences for our students. Your generous donation to our project will improve our Pre-K classroom by building a stronger reader and writer. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school, feel successful at an early age, and having fun while learning!
