Due to Covid, our returning 1st graders will be confined to desks, and not allowed to move around the classroom. Children need to be able to move, in order to keep their body and brain engaged in learning. It’s counter productive to force these little ones to sit and not be able to get their wiggles out! These yoga mats will be placed beside their desks, so they can sit on the floor and stretch or do their work while laying on them. The covered containers are needed, as the school will be spraying foggers in the classroom between the am and pm cohort classes. All personal items, books and papers will be damp and ruined if not enclosed in individual containers.
