I am a second grade teacher of an amazing group of students. I teach in a low income community, but that doesn't mean my students deserve less. They come to school every day eager to learn something new. I strive to keep them challenged and teach them things they can use outside my classroom walls. I love using models and manipulatives to increase learning since many of my students haven't experienced a lot of things and don't have the schema they need to build upon. Every day is a great day when someone is learning!
