Students use laptops daily in my classroom. These headphones will help provide every child with a reliable pair of headphones to use throughout the year. Students are provided with a laptop to use through the year, but unfortunately we are unable to provide a headset. This creates challenges for students, as they have a hard time focusing on just their own computer. Students who need little distractions are often unable to keep focused during computer times because of the sound coming from each laptop. These headsets would greatly benefit them. My students are becoming 21st century learners through the use of technology and these headphones are a necessary tool. Students use various programs that require them to listen to books, instructions and lessons via internet. This task is curently challenging since we do not have enough headphones for every child. If we could proivde these, students would be able to focus on their individual learning opportunities.
