In our 7th grade class we learn about how cells reproduce through both mitosis and meiosis and the inheritance of chromosomes. These resources provide materials for investigations of both mitosis and meiosis. The materials that are included in these kits are to complete investigations on the inheritance of chromosomes. With these resources my students will be able to explore cellular reproduction in a hands on fashion both with models and microscopically. This will give all my students no matter their background the resources to experience science to the fullest. I will be able to extend the learning from paper and videos to an immersive experience.
