Our school uses several computer based programs to help deliver individualized lessons to the students providing them with the remediation or challenges they need. We are also fortunate enough to have a class set of iPads which we use daily to support our learning. The students are asked to bring in a set of headphones at the beginning of the school year but most are low quality and all but one pair has broken. Most of my students' families are unable to afford a new pair of headphones and this project will ensure my students continue to benefit from the use of technology. The headphones in this project are a durable quality and will last for several years. Having their own headphones will allow my students to focus on their learning without the disruption of hearing other students' lessons. Student engagement will increase and the educational benefits will be maximized for all students.
