When you put technology in front of a student the possibilities are endless. By having a Chromebook for use in our classroom they can go places they never dreamed of growing up in southeastern Kentucky. Not only will they be able to use them as a research tool, but as a tool to more individualize their learning. We can use Chromebooks with a variety of programs offered at our school, such as, but not limited to, Study Island and IXL. Both of these programs can completely individualize student learning, so every student is getting exactly what they need when they need it. As a teacher I am always questioning how to better meet the needs of my students, and the use of this Chromebook in our classroom would be one answer to that question.
