The listening station will provide an inviting place for my students to explore books. It offers a quiet space for children to get alone and decompress before rejoining more active play, resulting in better emotional health. The couch offers a home-like environment bridging the gap between reading at school and at home. The listening station offers the opportunity for young children to use simple technology while enjoying a good book. Children can become more independent as they choose books for themselves, use the CD player and put everything away when they are finished. It will also help build language as they listen to their favorite stories time and again.
