Students will be using Kindles on a daily basis in order to increase their reading skills, comprehension, and lexile levels. Because most of my students read below grade level, this would be a tremendous asset to have in my classroom. Why you ask? My students do not like to read paperback books. Recently I brought my Kindle to school and they all wanted to take turns reading. Not playing games, but reading. If they each have one, they will be able to use it on a daily basis to enhance their overall reading skills and assist in preparing for PARCC.

About my class
