These books and seating will allow my students to have a reading area that they enjoy being in. I have chosen a variety of books that I believe will engage my students in reading. I want to provide for them an array of titles for their varying interests. I also want my students to feel comfortable and relaxed as they read and these alternative furniture pieces will allow for this. It is important for me that all my students develop a love for reading that will last a lifetime. Having this reading pad will help in establishing higher engagement during our independent reading. My hope is that students will take this engagement and develop reading habits that go beyond the classroom.
