This is a project to help increase the amount of reading our students do over the summer in order to prevent summer slide and regression. Many of our students are stuck at home with no books of their own and no transportation to the public library and the school library. This project would ensure that all students in our school received access three new books of their choice to take home and read over the summer. The students will have their choice of the books that are purchased to take home and keep. This will help them build their own personal libraries and reduce the risk of illiteracy due to lack of resources.

About my class
