My students are embarking on a new adventure of learning to read. My project will provide my students with engaging read-aloud books on their varying reading levels. Reading builds students' imagination, develops their critical thinking skills, and improves their communication skills, among many other benefits. Reading a variety of books will also help students grow their love of reading and it'll fuel their motivation to read more and more. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. When children are interested in books, they are likely to read more and become more engaged.
