My students have special learning needs and sometimes become frustrated when they don't see immediate success. Motivation to continue to strive for our goals is important for my students. Covid-19 has impacted my students and my program. Students have experienced many absences and loss of learning. Students are easily frustrated because they are behind in learning the curriculum. This can cause discouragement in students who have to work so hard to learn. My project is to increase motivation by creating a space to calm themselves and also to build a library of incentive rewards the students earn. By donating to our project, you will help my students increase achievement on their individual learning goals by increasing focus and staying calm when frustrated. Students who are calm, achieve more than stressed students. A student who is rewarded for staying focused on the task and not giving up will reach their goal faster than those who have not been rewarded. My project will allow my students to reach their individual goals.
