Second graders love to see their work highlighted and are always full of pride when they finish something they have been working on. These work portfolios will do just that as we will add pieces throughout the year. The student will learn to assess their work, organize it, and use given constructive criticism to make changes or add to their work. They will have a place to keep their pieces and be able to share their work in an organized manner. Second graders will use these portfolios to inform their families of what they have learned and accomplished and I will use them as an authentic assessment of the lessons learned in all areas.
