Literacy is key. If students can read, they can do anything! In a community that thrives on diversity and many languages, learning to read in English can be a challenge. The materials requested will help students overcome the challenges that come with learning a new language, so that they can learn to read. Regardless of location, ethnicity, or language, all students deserve access to materials that will help them grow as readers. The tablets requested will be used daily in our classroom to help them become better readers. These materials will allow my students to not only read books on their reading levels, but they will give students the opportunity to listen to books, answer questions about what they've read, and grow their love of reading. Please consider helping my students become confident and fluent readers!
