Wiggle Seats are tools that help students with Autism stay seated for longer periods of time, particularly during school hours. These "Seats" assist the students in facilitating their need to constantly move about; this in turn also does allow them to learn in a manner more akin to their peers. In some instances, those students who are seen by other service providers are afforded the use of one of these "Seats." I have witnessed solid growth in attention to learning tasks with one of my students who utilizes one of these; hence, my request for additional "Seats" to foster even more positive educational growth for my hard working learners! Constructive outlets provided by Wiggle Seats for movement would greatly benefit my high energy students; their individual struggles to more successfully learn are minimized by staying in their "Seat":))
