In 4K my students learn through a variety of "Hands-On" activities each day. Each year, the needs of the class varies. Some are drawn towards my sensory table, some to the block area and others to the dramatic play center. During the course of the year, I try to keep these centers fresh and inviting to draw my four-year-olds in! The sensory beads, kinetic sand and tools would enhance my sensory table and give my students an opportunity to discover some new tactile experiences. The block elevator and ramps would promote cooperative play in my block center and the new manipulative sets such as the Squigz and Insect builders would enhance my students' hand and eye coordination in a whole new way! It's the simple things that bring great pleasure to the young minds of four-year-olds--one doesn't have to look far to find what they need to learn with! If you choose to fund my project, be assured that my young learners would be stimulated through these unique new experiences which will in turn help them grow, learn and love school!
