My students engage in year-long activities where they tinker with different recyclable items to create according to their imagination. These explorations are uniquely tied to our engineering and design standards. Unfortunately, having enough of each tool or material can be a challenge and students can grow frustrated while waiting for the right tool. By increasing the supply of safety cutters, glue guns and other building materials, more students will be able to create at one time and their productivity will increase considerably. Having access to these supplies will help us meet our Next Generation Science standards while also providing a valuable outlet for our students' creativity!
