My second grade students need books at their level to practice reading independently and to become better readers. Reading books at their level is the best way for my students to increase their reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence in reading. By donating to our classroom library, you are helping children improve their reading skills and promote a love for reading. It is important that my students find interesting books at their reading level so they will want to read. My students will become better readers as they read more books at their level rather than just looking at the pictures because the words are too difficult. Students need to feel successful in reading so they will continue to read and continue their love for reading.

About my class
