Magnatiles and light tables support students in multiple areas of growth as learners. As early childhood educators, we need to recognize the diverse ways in which individual students achieve many of the same goals. The magnetic property of these tiles allow students to master the art of creating and building. They strengthen fine motor skills, problem solve, plan, create, and much more. Not only does the light table support and encourage peer collaboration and interaction, but it also builds language through conversation. These materials will be sure to excite, support and engage diverse students on all levels of need and growth.
