Many of my students do not have the means to purchase books on their own. At the end of last year, I purchased two copies of "The Hunger Games" and they were read by 6 students in only a month! They love new, hot books, but right now they don't have many. They want to be able to get one another excited about books and form these clubs on their own to discuss them!
