The Chromebooks will be a valuable asset to use in the classroom. Having computers will allow students to be able to work on projects, research topics, work on learning based websites. We have a license with Lexia, which is an amazing Literacy program that teaches tiered skills that I may not be able to get to in our everyday Literacy lesson. Also, the students work on Prodigy games and Reflex Math, both programs that enhance and allow the students to practice basic skills while having fun playing games. Having Chromebooks would allow for more students to utilize technology while we do our station rotations during the Daily 5 of Literacy, and our centers in Math.
