We plan to start a unit studying the series "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing". We do shared reading, literature circles and explore all elements of literacy. We create cartoons to retell the story. We need Chromebooks to research different artists and authors to create our literacy and arts integration objective. If our project is funded, we will have the opportunity to see our work in print right away. My students will be able to create vibrant stories and watch the words jump off the page. They would like to learn to experiment with different fonts and colors. They also like using various programs to bring a bit of variety to their stories. Having a printer and Chromebooks in our room would be such a great gift. It would equate to numerous writing possibilities. We dream of a world in technology and we hope our donors will help our dreams come true!
